accidentally broke after 4 years of it being my best friend. This one is
slightly upgraded from the old one and fit the price... You have no right to
complain about anything. The screen has a much better and clearer picture, so
far it has been lightening quick downloading. I have Prime and I was able to
easily transfer all my songs and Playlists over to the new Kindle, s well as
pictures. It automatically loaded my book library when I registered it. This
one has a front and back camera unlike the other one... It might not be the
best quality camera but it's better than none and I can take videos. I love
that this has a place for a SIM card to keep a much memory available as
possible. On this one you can actually side load Google Play so you'll have all

charges quickly with the enclosed charger and the battery life is more than
adequate... Of course watching videos and playing games will drain it faster as
with any electronic such as phone, tablet, etc. I love the new app on there
called Goodreads... I 6 actually reading an amazing book that was recommended
by that app. I'm very happy with my replacement Kindle and you really can't
beat the price. I would recommend to anyone and my Kindle is literally my best
friend so I'd be the first to complain if it wasn't high quality
I'm an avid reader so all the things
this Kindle can do are fantastic for the reader or gamer in your family.
Perfect size, and comes in multi colors. The price is great and the options of
reading books, magazines and newspapers is phenomenal, not to mention music and
games and is also very kid-friendly with great interactive games and apps and
has wonderful parental controls. I ordered 2 and got a great discount, so for
less than $120 I bought 2 of these tablets and protective cases (they come
separately) instead of paying $229 to fix my I-pad mini that I broke when I
dropped it and shattered the screen. I recommend this tablet for anyone on your
shopping list and for any occasion. I love mine and I am still learning about
all the things it can do!
The 3 Week Diet Ebook and PDF 2017 05-Feb-17, I've had my Kindle Fire for about two weeks now. I love
having the convenience of using something with a bigger screen than my phone,
but still small enough to be portable. I was disappointed to find that Google
Chrome is not available from the App Store.. But, that is about the only
complaint that I have. I would expect that you would agree that Google Chrome
is not a "deal breaker."
At such a low price the Amazon Fire is good electronic.I a no techie but the tablet is solid and more than meets my expectations . Narrower than the last tablet I used, the screen nevertheless, is easy to read. It offers more features than my last tablet and even comes with Alexa. If you download movies you might want 16GB, but I only download books, and 8 GB is adequate for that. I've only had it for a few days but it was a cinch to start up and load my favorite apps.
First, I just got mine, so this review is subject to change. :)
A few things:
The "with Offers" version - its buried in settings - you can turn off the ads.
The charging port - I immediately noticed the charging cable itself may be suspect - although it is a MicroUSB port, the cable end felt a little 'off'. Yes, it's a $50 tablet. You can't expect $500 tablet performance. - I don't get why so many people don't get this. Its a casual/limited use tablet. Set your expectations accordingly. Reading some reviews, apparently some people expect a 7 course gourmet meal for the price of a burger and fries through a drive-thru.
The 3 Week Diet Ebook and PDF 2017 05-Feb-17, In my case, I bought it solely as a Kindle Reader/light time-killing app use, not much else. If I need something for more intense games beyond basic card and puzzle games, I would have gotten the 8" or 10". Just because you can install other games and apps, it doesn't mean that it will run them well. I "could" use a lawn mower engine in my car - doesn't mean its going to accelerate fast or be economical.
Now, if you set your expectations that this is a budget tablet and you should expect budget performance, its great. It does what I bought it to do very well. it actually plays Netflix and Prime movies better than I expected.
I also recommend getting the Square Trade warranty - generally, anything like this, it's worth it for the extra $15 for 3 years coverage. $5/year for the 3 year plan, $6/year for the 2 year plan - small price to pay to have it covered If something does go wrong.
The 3 Week Diet Ebook and PDF 2017 05-Feb-17, So why the 4 stars instead of 5? Like many plastic-screen tablets, this one is a bit hesitant to respond. Over time it may change, or it may improve with a tempered glass screen protector (my protectors haven't arrived yet). I have another tablet that suffered the same problem, and a screen protector resolved it there. I am hoping for the same outcome here.
Seriously, set expectations based on the price point. The 8" is a better option if you play a lot of games and do a lot of social media. If not, and you are limiting it to reading, audio books, and casual games, the 7" is great.

them! Great apps! Movies come in clear with no glitches. I highly recommend
buying Amazons warranty on these. Bought a 2 year warranty for $14.98...my
daughter dropped hers and the screen smashed to pieces after having it for only
a few weeks. Amazon was fabulous! I called in a Friday...the new Kindle was in
my mailbox on Sunday. You just send the broken one back! I couldn't be happier!

This is such an amazing price!! We bought this for our 4 year old as something to play with during down time and to get learning apps on it. I dont have to stress about her breaking it because the price was so good! Its a perfect size for her as well. The 3 Week Diet Ebook and PDF 2017 05-Feb-17, I got this during the manic Monday sales following Black Friday...for about $34. I wasn't sure about the real use for a tablet as I have several laptops and a so-so phone but I figured it was worth a shot at that price.
Overall it's well worth the money although if I was wanting a tablet as a more simplified portable laptop I would've gone a different route (and still may). But this ranks pretty well as a media toy with streaming and playing games or reading.
I'm not so crazy about its browser or its limitations on certain things not Amazon oriented. And yeah..it is a bit of a nag as an Amazon advertisement for all that is Amazon. But I still enjoy it.
I have no problem with the media resolution (some people seem to but it looks pretty good to me)...and the streaming is good..but it sucks that some of the free games are always nagging you to buy tokens etc..
Still...I use it daily . It probably helps if you have Prime...they have movies and tv shows always on deck and the ability to download many things for off line. The 3 Week Diet Ebook and PDF 2017 05-Feb-17, Netflix did have the ability to download shows initially but I think you have to do a go around to get it to download to generation 5 now.
I do enjoy it..I'm not sorry I bought it. It just depends on what you want to spend and what you're looking for.
